Chicago Architecture Center River Cruise

The 1.5 hour River Cruise was a highlight of our visit. Volunteer guide Russ described the history, development, architectural style, and background of the development of the city and its buildings. We saw the city from a different perspective and learned many interesting facts. We learned a lot of history of the city, the buildings and the river. They actually reversed the flow of the river! I found that amazing! Unfortunately Indiana did not like it but there was a great political story about that too! It was a 1 1/2 hour tour and Russ never stopped talking!

He pointed out the building where Geoff works and as we were passing under the bridge next to it I heard my name called and there was Geoff in the center of the Dearborn Ave Bridge waving Hi! Nice surprise!
