Chicago River Walk

The Riverwalk is a pleasant 1.25-mile pathway along the shore of the Chicago River with bars, restaurants, and places to sit to take in the view. It was modeled after the Riverwalk in San Antonio. It is lower than street level and is beautifully designed. There are several different sections between the bridges, some with restaurants and bars, and some with layered seating. Other sections have play areas for kids. The river itself has mainly tourist boats circulating the area.
