US Citizenship Oath Ceremony

Yesterday, August 23, 2016, I became a US Citizen after being a permanent US resident for the past 25 years. I will still retain my Canadian Citizenship as the US and Canada both recognize dual citizenship. So in November, I will be able to vote for the first time in the US. The Oath Ceremony introduced 30 new US citizens from 20 countries. Thanks to my sister Beverly who drove ten hours each way from her home in Cranbrook, BC to see the ceremony.
