Directions to Karen & Wayne’s House
We are located up the hill from St. Vincent’s Hospital, near the intersection of highway 26 and 217. From highway 26 or 217, take the St. Vincent exit to Barnes road. From downtown Portland, you can also take Burnside towards Beaverton which becomes Barnes Road over the hill. Barnes Road is parallel to to and just north of highway 26. From the 26/217 exit, take Barnes Road east, past the hospital and continue up the hill past Catlin Gable school to the traffic light at SW Leahy Road. Turn left (north) onto Leahy and follow the curves around past West Tualatin Elementary School that will be on your left. Just before the |
parking entrance to the school, turn right onto 88th Avenue. (If you come to a stop sign, you missed 88th and can instead turn right on to 90th Ave and then turn right onto Stark.) 88th goes up a small hill and ends at West Stark Street. Turn right onto Stark and continue on up the hill to 85th Street. Turn right on to 85th. You will shortly come to a fork, stay left to go on Mapleridge Drive. Continue up the hill, take a sharp left hairpin turn around the tennis court. Just before the next right hairpin turn is our house on the left--the first house you will come to past the tennis courts. You can park in our driveway (steep downhill) or in the two guest parking places that are on the right, across from the tennis court. |
