Friday March 1, 2013: Before we left Sarasota on our way to Tampa, we did a brief swing through the waterfront area. Interesting large statues and remarkable architecture in the buildings. We went to Lido Beach briefly then headed out to Tampa. We decided to drive to Tampa via St Petersburg. We could see more of the area, and neither of us had ever seen St Petersburg. As we approached the city, we could see the most amazing Sunshine Skyway Bridge ahead. We just drove across it and through the island and on to Tampa
