Puerto Vallarta Malecon and Marina

A 45-minute walk south from our condo was the Malecon, a busy Oceanside walk with interesting shops, restaurants, ocean views, and artistic sculptures. We walked the mile long length several times and found some interesting restaurants to sit and have a Margaretta while watching paragliders and other beach activity. In the distance around the bay to the north, we could see the towers where our condo was.

We also walked north to the Vallarta Marina for breakfast one morning and to walk around. And one evening, we went to the Rhythms of the Night show on the secluded Las Caletas, a 45-minute boat ride across the bay. The area is lit by thousands of candle lights and torches, the performance stage is set in the forest. Then we had a great meal in one of the cozy restaurants also lit by candle light. As we were headed out from the marina on our boat ride, we passed an interesting private 250-million dollar yacht.
