We spent an extended weekend in San Francisco. Walked everywhere—downtown, Fisherman’s Wharf, Castro, Golden Gate Park, and the Mission District. Met up with our friend Brad who lives near SF and we had first met in Oaxaca.
One day we walked from the Ferry Building at the end of Market Street downtown, through Fisherman’s Wharf, the Presidio, across the Golden Gate Bridge, and down to Sausalito then took a ferry back to the wharf passing Alcatraz Island. Rode a cable car from the wharf to downtown, had coffee at Café Trieste in North Beach, walked up to Coit Tower to enjoy the view, saw the crooked street Lombard, had a Sunday at Ghirardelli Square.
