New Braunfels is the perfect place to kick back for a fun-filled
weekend or settle in for a longer stay. Whether you want to experience
the area’s unique assortment of water activities or discover the history
of the Lone Star State, you’ll find plenty of nearby diversions for
your whole family.
Between road trips and water thrills, be sure to take some time
out to enjoy the resort. Relax in your spacious unit with its large
front porch, vaulted ceilings and charming craftsman-style wood accents.
Then take advantage of the recreational pursuits available around the
resort, from the fun-filled outdoor pool and spa to the generous
selection of exercise equipment and arcade games.
Beyond the grounds of the resort, you’ll have an opportunity to
experience water thrills at their best, including tubing expeditions on
the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers and super slides at the award-winning
Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort. With Austin and San Antonio each less
than an hour’s drive away, opportunities for exciting day trips abound.
But even nearer is the Gruene Historic District, where you can see Texas
as it was a century ago.
Helpful Hints
- Please be aware that there are no
elevators at this resort and units are townhouse style with stairs
inside the unit. Units do not have individual barbecue grills, but there
are common barbecue areas and a picnic area.
- Temperatures in summer can reach over 100 degrees. Most units will have intermittent road or train noise.
- Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed in the units or on the resort property.
- Pack'n Plays are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. Maximum of one per unit.

Landmark, Natural Bridge Caverns is the largest and most spectacular

Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort
The Schlitterbahn family was again honored with top awards

the World’s Best Waterpark Ride categories during the 2007 Golden Ticket

Gruene Historic District
For a truly Texas experience, visit
Gruene Historic District, a unique shopping and entertainment district
on the banks of the Guadalupe River. Located in the Texas Hill
Country, Gruene is on the National Register of Historic Places. 1 mile.
